An Evening Under The Stars…The First Annual Save a Star Junior Board event at Sully's Tavern, Saturday July 18th
For one night only passionate young supporters come together for an evening “under the stars” in support of Save a Star Drug Awareness, in memory of Daniel Lee Katz. The event will be the first thrown by the newly elected junior board made of family, friends & colleagues who knew and loved Daniel. Local retailers and boutiques have also joined the cause by selling on-site during the event while donating their profits to the organization. The newly opened Sofia boutique will showcase its upscale vintage tees and jewelry while Dana Rebecca designs raffles off a pair of her signature diamond star earrings, after all if they’re good enough for Oprah, they’ll surely be a huge hit at the event (see January cover of O Magazine). From Bulls, Bears and Cubs tickets oh my, the silent auction table will surely impress attendees. And all attendees that make the donation will receive gift bags with loads of goodies donated by locals restaurants and spas such as Exhale Spa in the Gold Coast and River North hotspots the Underground and Bull & Bear. Don’t miss the first event of what will surely become an annual extravaganza!

100% of proceeds will benefit Save a Star, all silent auction items were provided on a donation basis and all profits will go directly to the organization. This event is being thrown by young, ambitious philanthropists between the ages of 21 and 35. The goal is to raise awareness regarding substance/alcohol abuse and prevention while remembering a dear friend.
